Kingfisher - Pencil on Ingres (sold)
Kingfisher - Pencil on Ingres (sold)

It's only when you start to put something together like a website that you begin to realise where your true passions are. Mine seem to be as mentioned before in both the act of drawing - well, the mark making process and that too of birds and ornithology. These seem to be recurring subjects and processes I keep returning to time and time again.

Here is the majestic Kingfisher, whilst I am not doing it justice at all by portraying it in monochrome, I hope that in pencil at least you can see the beauty of it's exquisite form. A tiny bird with a very large beak for dipping into rivers and slow moving water like streams for small bite size fish. Seen up and down the British countryside but more often in the South of the Country (and indeed Worldwide).

Drawn again a soft pencil around an HB or 2B for the darker areas onto a light Ingres paper. Whilst the original is not for sale, Giclée prints can be taken from it if requested? The prints would be on superior archive quality 192gsm paper supplied as print only and not mounted or framed. The Open Edition Print would be bagged carefully and supplied in a protective postal tube for safety. If you are interested, then by all means please drop me an email via the 'Contact us' drop down menu above where I would be happy to answer any correspondence from you.

I am always willing to accept commissions for drawing, painting, Illustration and designing etc, (depending on current workloads), please feel free to drop me a line via the 'Contact us' from the drop down menu above to discuss your requirements, thank you.

Alternatively, why not click the link and have a look in my shop on ETSY UK
