The Old Man is a detailed watercolour painting where I have tried to portray emotion and feeling for this little old French man with his cap of many years and his pipe of even longer. Painted on Saunders Waterford Watercolour paper (300gsm) hot pressed and highlighted in gouache (bodycolour).
