I am never far away from colour and see just the brightest shades in most things. From time to time I do like to mute my palette as I have said previously, but it rarely lasts for long, then I am back exhausting all my ‘cadmium reds’ and ‘cobalt blues’ etc.

This oil pastel drawing was just from my imagination, so I hope it works? I particularly like either a sunset or sunrise. Of course with a sunset, you get the added warmth that the sunrise, doesn’t always show with the early morning coolness of colour and tone.
