Digitally created Paintings
I have, because of my profession as a Graphic Designer many years experience working digitally on Apple Macintosh systems. In fact from the early days of Apple entering the creative studio market I have been using them, they are though to be viewed as a tool, as beautiful as they are, it is another tool like a paintbrush would be or the ultimate pencil with infinite lead sizes, but a pencil nevertheless! Of course the computer can do many things, but the creation process for me has to originate from within me and not at the press of a button.
My art and paintings on view here have been created over a period of years by using many techniques some devised by myself and processes also. From one software package to another finally to achieve an end result that I am almost pleased with. One very useful trick for me is the ability to go back a number of steps and alter without the mess you have with paint - bliss!
