Fowey is a small Cornish coastal town with a population of around 2,500, sitting at the mouth to the River Fowey, (pronounced Foy) and a popular place for tourists and the yachting fraternity to visit in Cornwall. I visited it some years ago with my late Father, taking reference pictures and sketches that I knew I would need on that day out with him, so I have very fond memories of that.
"The Fowey Estuary" digital painting is looking down onto the river from the westward side in Hanson Road, that day was somewhat changeable weather wise, but the sky was fantastic, casting an ethereal glow across the town.
