Many years I have kept a sketchbook, as an artist you are always constantly evolving, coming up with new ideas, at some point these have to be put down onto something for future reference. It would be so easy if your sketchbook was with you at all times, I fail miserably here! So, in desperation I put things down onto anything I can lay my hands on at the time and paste them into my sketchbooks at a later date. I scribble on newspapers, serviettes, post-it notes, the back of shopping lists, anything to hand really, the list of my pencil and pen scribblings is endless. I know, I should be more organised, but, that takes away some of the fun in it for me. Here are few of my 'assembled' pages to look like I know they should do.
