"The Shaggy Ink Cap" (or "Lawyer's Wig" amongst other regional names) is another edible fungi. Known for it's distinctive bell shaped cap and wispy cap ends it is an attractive looking fungus. With the original, I have drawn and painted it to show the emerging "Ink Cap" behind as it grows from an almost cylindrical tube.

Please note and beware that with all "Edible Fungi" foraged from woodland and meadows, absolutely accurate identification must be made before consumption as most fungi has an identical poisonous or deadly twin.
