"Five x Five - Green Nocturne" is another abstract acrylic painting that is based around the colours and the importance of green as a colour in nature. The "Green Nocturne" is painted in harmonising greens and yellows subtlety changing from one to another onto a dark green ground a symbolic reference to night. The painting is on a gallery wrapped deep edged box canvas measuring 16" x 16" x 1.5" (40.6cm x 40.6cm x 3.8cm). It is painted dark green to the sides also, gloss varnished and signed to the side, so no further framing is required.
