"Butterflies" are a framed and glazed set of four original watercolour British Butterflies, the 'Chalkhill Blue', 'Gatekeeper', 'Red Admiral' and 'Peacock'. There are hours of detailed painting gone in to achieve this and certainly were a labour of love. Butterflies, like birds come in all shapes and sizes and whilst in the UK we might not have the most exotic or the most colourful, we do have some fine species, these are just four of them.

The Butterflies themselves are painted in watercolour and bodycolour (gouache) onto Saunders Waterford Watercolour paper (300gsm) hot pressed.
