"Holy Island Of Lindisfarne" is a contemporary original oil pastel & acrylic painting.In a Post-Impressionistic style showing a view towards the lonely island in the distance, across colourful low lying fields and meadows under a moving sky. The Priory was the original home to the Lindisfarne Gospels and a spiritual centre for early Christianity and also the home of St. Cuthbert.
