With the "Birthday Girl" illustration I was asked to produce something that would be eye-catching and again aimed at the popular female youth market. Very stylised in it's approach, but hopefully right for the particular market it is aimed at. Produced commercially using full colour process (cmyk) and using colours picked for their brightness. A bold typeface and large font size finish the design off, as mentioned before on previous pages the image was hand drawn in pencil, inked in pen and scanned into the computer (mac). The full colour process separations were done from there.
