Bunnies - You're Special
After attending a trade visit with a very good publisher friend to the "Spring Fair" at the NEC in Birmingham, which is one of the largest events for the Greetings Card industry etc in the UK. I returned home full of ideas and inspiration. The following range of 6 individual greetings cards were the result of the trip. The publisher after seeing my initial sketches decided the range should be called "Bunnies" and off we went. Each card used a total of six colours (passes) the sixth being a bright silver for added effect. Thankfully as a Graphic Designer too I was able to originate the print ready artwork for the publisher along with the Illustrations and design for each card.
The colours used for printing were all Pantone (PMS) which gives you a very wide colour range as conventional cmyk full colour process wouldn't be able to achieve the saturation levels of individual colour that Pantone can. The individual spot colour process doesn't rely on the over laying of screened cmyk colours to achieve the final desired colour/shade.
I am always willing to accept commissions (depending on current workloads), please feel free to drop me a line via the 'Contact us' from the drop down menu above to discuss your requirements, thank you.

Graphics & Greetings
With many years experience in both Illustrating and Graphic Design, I have turned my hand to most things through the years. The greeting card designs seen here have in the main been reproduced commercially for various companies. Whilst I'm maybe not a natural 'cartoonist' I did enjoy working on them. They are largely drawn freehand in ink, then scanned into the Apple Macintosh and taken to full colour separations stage from there. My graphic design pieces are slightly more conventional, see what you think, hope you like them, Russell.
