My pencil drawing of The Cormorant is from a picture I took fleetingly many years ago in Devon. They are a very large diving bird with a long neck, slightly hooked bill tip and short stubby legs sporting a greenish black plumage (beautiful plumage actually, but sadly not a 'Norwegian Blue'). Captured "just resting" with a few friends.

I have a particular passion for drawing and sketching where birds and ornithology are concerned and have been drawing them for many years, though they are not very good models due to their reluctance to posing for any length of time. This was drawn on Canson heavyweight paper using HB & 2b graphite pencils.
